Sow and Bloom is…
A sustainable growth consultancy that provides the tools to community-rooted organizations to thrive with the same efficiency and innovation as the most successful for-profits—without losing their soul.
We do this by…
Tending the Soil, Not Just the Harvest
We don’t just drop off a toolkit—we show you how to use each tool to prepare the soil for long-term growth. By learning and applying the “keys” early, you clear out the weeds of inefficiency and plant systems that thrive with ease. These foundational practices remove the friction that stunts progress and allow your work to take root, grow strong, and bloom with purpose.
Enabling Growth Without Compromise
We help you secure the right resources early, so you’re positioned to scale without sacrificing your mission, values, or vision. Our process prioritizes integrity and intention—ensuring that growth never comes at the cost of who you are or what you stand for. Because real sustainability means never having to trade your purpose for access.

How Edith & Oge Became Sow & Bloom…
Sow & Bloom was born from a shared truth: The work we believe in deserves better beneficiaries.
Sow & Bloom was born from a shared truth: The work we believe in deserves to flourish.
After years of building innovative programs, strategies and brands inside large organizations, Shannell and Ogechi found themselves at a crossroads. They had delivered meaningful results—helping companies reach new audiences, drive impact, and grow—but often found that ideas rooted in long-term value, equity, or sustainability struggled to gain long-term traction. Success was too often defined by immediate economic return alone. Shannell & Ogechi realized that purpose will always be second profits when resources are in flux.
They also saw a growing need in the nonprofit sector—where powerful missions are often held back by underinvestment, operational strain, and a dependence on grant cycles that limit sustainability. With deep experience in the for-profit world, Shannell and Ogechi set out to bridge the gap: helping mission-driven organizations build resilient strategies, scalable infrastructure, and more sustainable growth.
Shannell, a creative powerhouse in brand storytelling, community engagement, and consumer behavior, had helped legacy brands authentically connect with audiences they didn’t always understand. Ogechi, a systems thinker and strategist in healthcare innovation and partnerships, had led cross-sector initiatives that expanded access to care for underserved communities.
One moved through metaphor and momentum. The other through mechanics and models. Art and science. Head and heart. Vision and infrastructure.
Together, they shared a belief: Access to sustainability and scale, should not cost you your vision, your purpose or your integrity.
That belief became a blueprint. That blueprint became Sow & Bloom—a consultancy that helps purpose-led teams root deeply, grow wisely, and bloom fully.
Because when strategy is aligned with purpose, the impact doesn’t just grow—it thrives.
